Finally managed to get some time to update my home page after not changing the content for three years. This was despite changing the hardware platform, upgrading the O.S. three times and choosing, purchasing and updating my web editing software three times! Something was actually happening here, it just wasn’t entirely obvious...

As before I’d like to describe how this web site is configured both in terms of software and firewalls, but I will deliberately leave that information vague. All I am prepared to say is that this site is running on my home server running Solaris 10 5/08 under it’s own zone (or container as Sun now like to call them). I still like my slug (a 5W firmware appliance), but since I run my server 24x7 it might as well host my other services.
